Bailey started dancing at the age of three, and continued her training for the next 20 years! She started off her dance career taking recreational Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop right here at the SB Dance Studio! Once a competitive program was introduced to the studio, Bailey joined the team and trained in Jazz, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Musical Theatre! She competed alongside her team, receiving several different awards, including awards for groups, trios, duets and solos.
Once she graduated High School, she accepted an offer at Brock University where she completed a five- year program in Concurrent Education. During her time at Brock university Bailey continued dancing—participating in the recreational program training in Lyrical, Contemporary, and Jazz. She taught recreational Jazz and Hip Hop to fellow university students within the recreational dance program during this time as well. Bailey was also on Brock’s competitive Hip Hop team, where she had the amazing experience of getting to compete against all other Ontario University dance teams.
Graduating in 2019, Bailey started her career as an educator for the District School Board of Niagara. While working as an occasional teacher, she had the opportunity to choreograph and train the Brock competitive Hip Hop team. She has now moved back to the area and is hoping to continue her career working for the Blue Water District School Board. When she is not working and dancing, her favourite thing to do is hang out with her puppy, Cruz! She is extremely excited and thankful to get to come back to dance and teach where her love for dancing all started 21 years ago!
