Emily grew up in her family’s competitive dance studio in Bowmanville, which is where she began her training at the young age of 2. She has been trained by numerous well known choreographers and teachers in different styles of dance including: tap, jazz, lyrical, ballet, musical theatre, hip hop and Acro. Emily has also completed ADAPT exams during her early years of training.
Emily has won a number of overalls, scholarships and special awards over her years of competing with multiple teams and studio. These awards and scholarships have allowed her to dance in numerous events in both Canada and the US. Emily also had the privilege of performing in the National Ballet of Canada’s the Nutcracker while she was apart of their Junior Associates Program for 2 years.
Her strong passion and love for dance has shown through into her teaching. She loves seeing the kids grow into beautiful dancers; she says it’s extremely rewarding to be apart of that. Emily looks forward to many more years of teaching and can’t wait until her daughter is part of the SB competitive family.
